WINNER OF THE TRANSFORMATION THROUGH BEAUTY

(ORGANIZED BY PEEK-A-BOO group of salons)

For the first time in the hairdressing industry, a hair salon, Peek A Boo group of salons organized an event in conjunction with the movie; TRANSFORMERS: THE REVENGE OF THE FALLEN.

The event, “Transformation of Beauty” was created by the marketing team of Peek A Boo to challenge the hairstylists to Transform the participant’s looks thru hair cut, coloring and also perming.

A booth was set up on the 24^th, 27th and 28^th June at Cineleasure during the movie, TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN, a highly acclaimed blockbuster movie. During the 3 days drive, we successfully recruited more than 300 ladies to enter the contest! 10 were chosen to be the finalist. We were blessed to have such great and cooperative participants.

The selected participants came over to the salon at the appointed time and put their trust on the hands of our stylist. A photoshoot session was organized on 6^TH July and the result was a success. The visuals were posted online for the public to view and vote from the 10^th till the 12^th of July. The public could choose vote either thru www.cathayholdings.com.my or www.peekaboo.com.my or at both websites. However, only one vote per e mail was allowed.

The result of the winners of the “TRANSFROMATION THRU BEAUTY” contest is as follows;

First prize : Ms Crystal Lim (contestant no.4)

Second Prize : We also have Ms. Nikki Lee (contestant no.10)

Third Prize : Ms. Joanna Wong (contestant no.6)

The award presentation was held at La Gourmet Cantina, The Curve. With all contestants and sponsors were gorgeously dressed to attend the event with their partner. We started out on a welcome speech given by the Operation Director of Peek-a-boo, Mr. Peter Wong which was followed with a presentation of slide show of the run up to the event.

After the presentation, the announcement of winners was made with our Directors of Peek-a-boo, Mr. Joe Low and Seth Tham giving away the awards the winners.
